100 DAYS OF SMALL QUILTS
100 days of small quilts started with a desire to use up the tiny treasures of leftovers from my full sized quilt projects. It was the first lock down and I badly needed a focus away from all the terrible news and something separate from all my other responsibilities. Starting with an idea of creating actual small quilts I soon changed to a simpler approach of quilt fronts and treating each as a little series.
I worked quite intensely at times, catching up or when an idea needed making. Looking back they themselves are a marker of that time, I'm grateful for all the pleasure that making the project provided and that it reignited my desire to make art again.
