Funding the Project
This project has been a passion project of Isla’s since she began planning 100 Days exhibitions in 2017, and running the 100 Days Project Scotland in 2018. For the first 4 years this was self-funded, and Isla needed to find other ways of supporting this.
I had been applying for different funding streams, R&D, professional development, and training opportunities throughout 2020 and early 2021; investing my time and working towards making the 100 Days Project Scotland even better. One of those opportunities, which turned out to be a success, was the fantastic Creative Scotland Crowdmatch
We did it! We crowdfunded over £8,000!
This video lets you know what the project is all about, and what convinced oodles of fabulous people to crowd around and support with their cash, time, and expertise!
Successful Crowdfunder Campaign!
Our wonderful community helped secure £8,002 through a Crowdfunder campaign, £2,500 of which was matched funding by Creative Scotland and the fab Crowdmatch project. This support was wonderful, and allowed me to hire a talented multidisciplinary designer, and dear friend, to finally get the 2020 and 2021 exhibitions online, and to lay some of the groundwork for the 2022 exhibition.
The plan is to get some photos of this fabulous event online for you all to see. What was not spent on the exhibitions, has continued financing the website, email accounts, and digital tools required to support the community.
If you missed the Crowdfunder you can still check out the page and see who our wonderful supporters were. A sponsors page will also be appearing on this website in the future as a way to thank our fab community.
If you would like to support the project in some way, even buying Isla a coffee, then please go to the Support Project Page.
