100 DAYS OF BIRDS
As a surface pattern designer I thought it would be beneficial to my practice to build a set of reference drawings for future projects.
I used my Covid lockdown time to practice my skills with a daily bird drawing. While the first 80 or so works are images of a variety of birds the final works are designs that the images inspired. Additionally as an Art teacher it was useful to practice what I preach about the importance of drawing especially everyday for an extended period of time.
