(more than) 100 DAYS AWAY FROM HOME DURING A PANDEMIC (a Spanish girl in Scotland)

I was not able to draw, or even think about drawing, for a full year. It was a very stressful period for everyone, and I felt paralized for so long. Thankfully, it passed. I started this project in 2020, and some of the skecthes were done during lockdown, but then my mental health didn't allow me to keep on going.

I managed to do the full 100 days the next year, in 2021, one drawing per day (big challenge!) and I included the sketches done in 2020 too.

Through these (more than) 100 sketches, I tell you my impressions from 2020/2021, trying to catch up with myself, my feelings, my thoughts. It has gone by like a blur. I am starting to process just now.

I tried my best to tell you about it in a lineal, narrative format (like a little tiny book/tale), going month by month, but everyday was different, (I jump back and forward in time every now and then) and not all illustrations are about real situations, some will be things I felt, thought, or imagined.
