Creating art during the pandemic was a way of keeping going, in the hope that we would eventually reach the other side.
I thought about what I was missing, and one of the many things was attending live events, especially festivals. I read an article about a lady whose business was creating flags for festivals - the giant ones which are used to mark out fields or meeting points at big music festivals, and thought that this would be a great project, but it needed to be on a domestic scale for the #100daysprojectscotland. So I created triangular bunting, painted mainly with watercolours, or stamped with ink and hand carved stamps.
The bunting was sewn onto painted tapes all ready to hang at the Project Exhibition 2021 - sadly, that didn't happen either.
